School Feast Day 2006

It's October 4 th once again and it's time to remember our patron saint, St. Francis of Assisi. It is usually at this time that SRL students are reminded of his virtues, his teachings and his way of life.

Following the traditional School Feast Day Mass which was celebrated by our school chaplain, Reverend Father Conroy, activities conducted by the Religious affairs Committee commenced. This year's activities focused on How Well Do You Know Your School?

Primary students were given time to go around the school to familiarize themselves with the number of rooms, bulletin boards, pillars, etc., in preparation for a quiz that was to follow. Secondary students had to prepare a short skit about the value of belongingness and they had to present this skit to another class. Discussions followed. It was certainly a morning well spent and increase in belong ness to the school.
