Rosians began the year 2007 with competitions and exciting events. The Mandarin and Cantonese Recitation competitions were held within the first three weeks of January. Students and teachers alike were awed by the great improvement in the contestants' delivery skills.

The annual Sports Days were also held in January. Amidst the usual excitement of the games, secondary students were given a special treat. The Police Band of Macau came to entertain the students in the afternoon of the first leg of the Sports Days. The students unanimously declared that they had enjoyed the band very much.

The month of January was truly a fun-filled and exciting month. It was indeed a fitting reprieve before the grueling examination weeks that were to commence in February.
