The Teacher’s Development Day organised by the Macau Catholic Schools Association was successfully held on September 10 at the University of Macau. This year's theme was “The Image of the Lord, the Beauty of Dignity” 「主之肖像 尊貴之美」.
Our Most Reverend Bishop Stephen Lee Bun-Sang delivered a soul-nourishing lecture titled "Reflections on the Relationship Between Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Human Wisdom." Bishop Lee guided us to review reality spiritually in this AI-filled world, encouraging us to rediscover the wisdom of the human heart, which helps us understand the relationships and events around us. He reminded us of our sacred mission in education, emphasising the commitment to continue guiding our students towards their spiritual growth in the age of AI.
In the Teacher’s Development Day, awards were also presented to teachers serving in Catholic schools. We would like to congratulate Ms. Karla Ampon, Mr. Desmond Choi, Ms. Lucia Yip, and Ms. Joana for receiving awards for 30 years and 25 years of service. Thank you for your unwavering dedication and hard work!
