On Friday, October 3rd, 2008, students gathered to celebrate the annual school feast day.The theme for the day was Let’s Continue Our Mission and students were encouraged to live lives guided by the ideals of both Saint Francis of Assisi and Saint Rose of Lima.The day began with the Eucharistic celebration for all Catholics and class representatives.

Then a special program was held in the school hall.It included the recitation of original poems about the Rosian Spirit, recited by selected students and teachers who were past SRL students.Then secondary students performed a drama and an interpretative dance.The celebration ended with the induction ceremony of the executives of the Students' Association.

This was really a fitting ending to a meaningful morning since the executives would be responsible for organizing most, if not all student activities throughout the year.Meanwhile, the Primary 1 to Primary 6 students were encouraged to design “birthday” cards dedicatedto their school and to write reflections on the topic My School and I.
