It has been our pleasure and honour to receive an invitation from the City University of Macau to organise a DSEDJ teacher professional development workshop for mathematics teachers. The panel head of the mathematics department was our representative and he shared how our school has been implementing “gamification” in mathematics lessons.

The definition and rationale of the methodology were discussed. There were also discussion sessions and hands-on experiences for teachers to design a gamified learning activity in mathematics. The 6-hour sharing session was fruitful and there was an exchange of ideas among teachers from different schools.
