May is the month in which we express gratitude to our own mothers on Mother’s Day. May is also traditionally celebrated as the month of Mother Mary at our school so a decade of the rosary is said every Friday morning. To further heighten the significance of the Intervention of our Blessed Mother, the Catholic Students’ Association organized a beautiful Coronation on the 13th of May. The ceremony was held in the school hall that morning. Choir members sang hymns as little angels from the Modern Dance Team paid homage through dance. Three decades from the Glorious Mysteries were recited, with each decade offered for a special intention, and introduced through a short dialogue. The ceremony was very meaningful and relevant and the whole school participated solemnly.
