As part of their English Theme-based Project on ‘Forces of Nature’, our Primary 4 students visited the Macao Science Centre for an engaging and enriching learning experience. During the visit, students explored interactive exhibits about the Public Safety Experience Exhibition, where they learned about natural hazards such as typhoons, earthquakes, heavy rainfall, and flooding.
Through hands-on activities and realistic simulations, students gained a deeper understanding of how these powerful natural forces affect communities and how people can respond to natural disasters safely. The exhibits strengthened the students’ knowledge of natural forces and provided valuable insights that will help them prepare for their Theme-based Project.
The visit brought classroom learning to life, and raised students’ awareness of public safety. It was a meaningful experience that enabled students to connect scientific concepts with real-world situations.
