Our Primary 4 students have successfully wrapped up an eye-opening General Studies STEM project centered on water purification!
Embracing the scientific method, the students investigated how various materials and physical factors directly influence filtration quality. Through a dynamic, hands-on engineering process, they analyzed their observations to design and construct their very own custom water filters. To deepen their inquiry, the young researchers performed a streak plate procedure with their filtrates, allowing them to visibly explore and analyze the presence of microscopic organisms commonly found in tap water.
We are incredibly proud of how these budding scientists combined observation, critical analysis, and real-world problem-solving to engineer such creative solutions!
