School Feast Day Celebration 2013

Following the Fun walk, School Feast Day Celebration was held on the 4th of October to celebrate the school anniversary.

The celebration started with Ms Teresa Lo’s sharing about our school patron, St. Francis of Assisi’s kindness to the needy, especially to the suffering people. In order to let our students better understand and learn more about our patron, Ms Sarita and Ms Anna shared their inspiring experiences during the staff pilgrimage to Italy in June.

Catholic students, class representatives and all staff members attended the mass held in the chapel after the Celebration. The mass was filled with the beautiful songs rendered by our secondary choir and the grateful prayers led by the priest, sisters and all Catholic teachers and students. The mass ended with happiness at 12:00 pm.

To share the joyfulness of our school anniversary, the Open Day was held in the afternoon, welcoming public to visit our campus. Students and teachers working together set up booths and exhibitions for the event, which proved to be an excellent opportunity for the students to hone their sense of responsibility. The campus was brimming with happiness and excitement. Every corner was full of surprises and fun.  Balloons and gadgets were prepared by the Economics Club outside the school door and beautiful plants were sold by the Ecology Club.  Tasty snacks and drinks were sold at the Home Economics Room. Furthermore, there were displays of students’ artwork and photo collages capturing bits and pieces of school history. The Hall was one of the most popular spots during the day as there were amazing dance performances by Break Ice Dance Team and beautiful songs by the secondary choir. The day was wrapped by the joyfulness of a lucky primary 4 student who won the TV in our grand lucky draw.
