PTA Hosts "Beware of Deception" Talk
Students' parents have become targets of scams recently. Various modus operandi were employed that included some criminals calling parents and claiming to have kidnapped their beloved children and demanding ransom. In view of this, the PTA invited a speaker from the Policia Judiciaria to give a talk for parents of P1 to P6 students. The talk, entitled "Beware of Deception", was held on September 26, 2014.
In the talk, the speakers listed different modus operandi and ways that criminals obtain information. With lively drama performances, they also provided instructions on how to handle fraud.
After the lecture, most participants agreed that the lecture’s content was practical and very useful.
有見近期騙案的對象都與在學兒童的家長有關，匪徒多訛稱已綁架兒童並要求家長交出贖款，否則對案主不利等等層出不窮的行騙手法。PTA特意聯絡司法警察局，希望他們派員來校作主題的講座；邀請很快就得到澳門司法警察局的回應，並於2014.9.26為P1-P6的家長舉行了一場"提防詐騙"的專題講座。
講座中，司警人員列舉了騙徒的行騙手法，及騙徒獲得資料的途徑，同時配以生動的話劇演出，帶出面對騙案的處理方法。
講座後，按收集的資料顯示，絶大部份的參與者覺得講座內容切合實際且獲益良多。
