Family Outing in Oscar Farm
On the 15th February, 2014, the Colegio de Santa Rosa de Lima (English Secondary) Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Organizing Committee held the second parent-child activity, the "Family Outing" at Oscar Farm.
A total of 120 people, that included students from Primary 3 and 4, their parents and staff members, visited Oscar Farm. We visited the farming plot and tried to farm. We also attended talks and activities about nature and played many different games!
This activity allowed students to step away from their busy school life. Through experiencing farming and playing different games with their family members, students learnt more about nature and their family. They also learnt to love and care for their family and the environment.
Aside from learning simple farming techniques, our committee members also prepared three parent-children games: "The Collector", "Teacher Says" and "Super Charades". Parents and their children had to work hard together in order to win the prizes.
2014年2月15日聖羅撒英文中學家教會(小學)籌備委員會舉行了第二次的活動，名為"親子郊遊樂"之金象農場。
活動邀請了P3及P4兩級同學及父母親連同工作人員共120人到路環金象農場：參觀農場設施，農耕體驗，知識講座及自然趣知活動，還進行了親子遊戲等。
活動為了讓學生在忙碌的學習生活中，走出校園，以及透過和家人親身體驗農耕的苦與樂、參與親子遊戲等活動，增進對自然，對家人的了解和關懷。
當天的參與者除簡單扼要地掌握到農耕知識外，籌委會還安排了三個親子遊戲："收買佬"、"老師話"及"大電視"，讓家長及子女合作協力贏取禮物。
