Purpose:
Using Cultural Heritage as a tool, students will have a deeper understanding of Macau while discovering its value by different methods to enhance students’ cultural identity and critical thinking.
Content:
First Term:
Introduction of Macau culture, including its basic informa@on, history and cultural heritage with group discussion.
Understanding the importance of culture.
Field trips on Heritage sites in Macau
Second Term:
Introducing different types of heritage documentation and interpretation skills, including photographic, cultural mapping and more.
On-school cultural mapping workshop
Third Term:
Concept on conservation and sustainable development.
Field trips on Heritage sites in Macau.
