Purpose:

  • A hands-on introduction to modern music creation, audio recording, sound reinforcement, and stage performance techniques for contemporary pop music.

  • Develop creativity, collaboration, and technical skills through hands-on projects.


Content:

First Term: Foundations 

  • Learn song structure, basic arrangement, and DAW recording techniques.

  • Guided exercises capture vocals or instruments.


Second Term: Editing & Mixing

  • Edit tracks, adjust timing, and organize sessions to enhance your audio production.

  • Apply mixing tools (volume, panning, EQ, reverb) to shape a balanced sound.

  • Try simple MIDI programming and virtual instruments to enhance and refine your original ideas.


Third Term: Production & Presentation

  • In small teams, plan, record, and finalize a short music project.

  • Explore live-sound basics (setup, level checks, monitoring) with a mock performance or showcase.

  • Share projects in a relaxed “Studio Showcase” and reflect on your creative process.


No prior experience is needed—just enthusiasm for music. By the end of the course, you’ll understand digital recording, editing, and mixing, and have a finished piece to share.
