        To enhance students' logical thinking and problem-solving skills through collaborative pair work on logical puzzles, fostering teamwork, critical analysis, and creativity while encouraging a deeper understanding of logical concepts.



Content:

First Term

  • Nonogram

involves filling in a grid based on numerical clues that indicate the lengths of contiguous blocks of filled squares, creating a pictorial representation.


  • Slitherlink

challenges players to draw a single loop around a grid while adhering to number clues that indicate how many sides of each cell are part of the loop.


  • Kakurasu

combines elements of crossword puzzles and arithmetic, where players fill in a grid to satisfy given row and column sums.


  • Einstein’s riddle

Second Term

  • Aquarium

requires players to arrange fish of various types in a grid, following specific placement rules based on given clues. The objective is to ensure that all fish are correctly positioned while adhering to the constraints.

 

  • Bridges

involves connecting islands on a grid with lines that represent bridges, ensuring that the number of bridges matches the specified numbers on each island. Players must strategically plan their connections without creating any loops.

Tapa

  • involves filling a grid with blocks based on numerical clues that indicate the lengths of filled segments. Players must ensure that all filled areas are connected while avoiding any isolated blocks.

 

  • Skyscraper

challenges players to arrange numbers in a grid, representing skyscrapers of varying heights. The numbers around the grid indicate how many skyscrapers can be seen from that vantage point, requiring strategic placement.

features players placing stars on a grid while adhering to rules that prevent stars from being in the same row or column. This puzzle emphasizes spatial reasoning and strategic planning.
