SRL Celebrates the 4th Sunday of Advent

Upon entering the school campus on the morning of December 18th, you would find yourself enveloped in the melodious voices of the Secondary Choir as they sang songs echoing our joyful anticipation of Jesus’ Birth. Our Catholic Students’ Association then conducted the final assembly for the year to celebrate the 4th Sunday of Advent. After Ms Candy had lit the 4th candle on the Advent Wreath, Ms Teresa’s little angels from the Modern Dance Club paid graceful tribute to the Holy Family, set up nicely on a platform outside the main staff room. The glow from tea lights lit up the scene, creating that warm feeling of familial love. Classes then exchanged their Box of Blessings with the assigned partner class from a lower level as the Little Birdies from Primary 2 sang the Christmas Alphabet, led by Ms Anabela. The morning assembly ended with more presents from the Students’ Association given out at the traditional Christmas Lucky Draw. Of course, it goes without saying that lots of food was shared.
